  • 2019 was New Era’s inaugural year as the official on field headwear provider of the MLS. The year’s official on field line was comprised of several silhouette variations of one central design concept, as well as a player beanie and a special piece that was offered for the second half of the season. Special planning and consideration is executed in tandem with market research on athlete and club wants as well as what will perform best in the retail and fan space. Along with these pieces, the league supports a number of special events including: Kick Childhood Cancer, military appreciation, 4th of July/Canada Day, All Star Week and Pride. These pieces are all conceptualized to follow a central story that we carry throughout the line year-round. We also build out customs on a team-by-team basis by request for exclusive retail opportunities.
