The New York Yankees approached developed an idea to commemorate the outstanding season their hitting duo of Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez where having. The two caps tell a player driven story, one team primary and the other a black and grey. Both caps incorporate a stamped metal name plate (with nickname) and number on the front with matching metal eyelets and a corresponding metal Yankees pin. The under visors on both caps are color matched to the crown featuring a screen print of the player’s signature. Each cap features a custom logo created for each player in a high gloss stamped rubber patch. This collaboration marked the first time the MLB allowed for the use of player nicknames in consumer product production.
